Russian scrap exports by rail declines 21% y-o-y in Jan-Sep

Russia exported 1.07 million mt of scrap by railway in the January-September period of the current year, down 21% year-on-year, as per the latest data released by Russian Railways.

MOSCOW (Scrap Monster): Russia exported 1.07 million mt of scrap by railway in the January-September period of the current year, down 21% year-on-year, as per the latest data released by Russian Railways.

In September alone, Russia exported 155,200 mt of scrap by railway, down 15% compared to September 2011.
