The United States copper scrap prices advanced sharply in the domestic market in September this year from a month earlier.

NEW YORK (Scrap Monster): The United States copper scrap prices advanced sharply in the domestic market in September this year from a month earlier.

According to the Scrap Monster data, US # 1 Copper, # 2 Copper, Light Copper, Copper /AL Radiators, Copper Transformers prices advanced in September this year from a month earlier.

--# 1 Copper prices advanced sharply by 10.25% month-on-month to reach $ 3.55 per pound in the end of September this year.

--# 2 Copper prices rose significantly by 11.18% month-on-month to reach $ 3.38 a pound in the end of September this year.

--Light Copper prices edged higher nearly 1% month-on-month to hit $ 3.13 per pound in the end of September this year.

Copper /AL Radiators prices up by 3.6% month-on-month to hit $ 1.70 per pound in the end of September this year.

-- Copper Transformers prices gained by 2.8% month-on-month to reach $ 0.73 per pound in the end of September this year.
