Russia's Ferrous metal exports up 15.4% y-o-y in Jan-Jul: Russtat

In the January-July period of the current year, Russia's Ferrous metal exports increased by 15.4% year-on-year to 23.088 million metric tons (mt), including 2.353 million mt of pig iron, up 5.8% year-on-year, as per the data released by the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat).

MOSCOW (Scrap Monster): In the January-July period of the current year, Russia's Ferrous metal exports increased by 15.4% year-on-year to 23.088 million metric tons (mt), including 2.353 million mt of pig iron, up 5.8% year-on-year, as per the data released by the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat).

According to statistics, the total value of Russia's ferrous metal exports in January-July this year was $13.718 billion, advanced 10% year-on-year.

Meanwhile, in the given period Russia registered a 11.7% increase year-on-year in its ferrous metal imports to 3.573 million mt, with a total value of $3.55 billion.
