Brazil flat Steel exports surge 35% m-o-m in Aug

Brazil's flat rolled steel exports reached 200,600 metric tons (mt) in August this year, increased 35% month-on-month and up 33.7% year-on-year, as per the the preliminary statistics provided by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.

BRASILIA (Scrap Monster): Brazil's flat rolled steel exports reached 200,600 metric tons (mt) in August this year, increased 35% month-on-month and up 33.7% year-on-year, as per the the preliminary statistics provided by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.

The revenue generated by these exports in August this year totaled $166.8 million, rose by 23.8% month-on-month and up 9.3% year-on-year.
