LME Copper falls on stronger dollar

London Metal Exchange (LME) copper declined 0.28% to $7385 per metric ton (mt) on Wednesday as concerns mounted about the impact of China's slowing growth on industrial demand and the dollar strengthened on waning hopes that the U.S. Federal Reserve will take further action to boost the world's largest economy.
LONDON (Scrap Monster): London Metal Exchange (LME) copper declined 0.28% to $7385 per metric ton (mt) on Wednesday as concerns mounted about the impact of China's slowing growth on industrial demand and the dollar strengthened on waning hopes that the U.S. Federal Reserve will take further action to boost the world's largest economy.
All other metal prices also declined on LME market on Wednesday, except tin and steel, both advanced to $18200/ mt and $360/mt, respectively.
LME Price Highlights:
--Aluminium alloy declined 2.29% to $1700 a metric ton
--Aluminium declined 0.52% to $1803 per metric ton
--Copper declined 0.28% to $7385 a metric ton
--Lead slipped 1.47% to $1834.50 per metric ton
--Nickel dipped 2.09% to $15225 per metric ton
--Tin advanced 0.55% to $18200 per metric ton
--Zinc declined 0.58% to $1781.50 a metric ton
--Steel advanced 1.4% to $360 per metric ton
