Nominations sought for Environmental Stewardship Awards in Plastics Recycling

Nominations have been sought in ten categories for Plastics Recycling awards by the Plastics Environmental Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers
WASHINGTON, (Scrap Monster): The Plastics Environmental Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers (http://www.sperecycling.org/) has sought nominations for this year's Environmental Stewardship Awards: 'Plastics Recycling and Sustainability on my Mind.' These awards will recognize corporations and other institutions that have demonstrated environmental leadership and excellence through significant achievements in the categories described below. The achievements must involve plastics.
Awards will be presented during GPEC® 2011 (Global Plastics Environmental Conference), October 17-19, 2011 at The Atlanta Peachtree Westin Hotel, Atlanta, GA, USA.

1. Daniel Eberhardt Environmental Stewardship
2. Plastics Recycling Technologies and Applications
3. Plastic Materials from Renewable Sources
4. New Application Technologies in Plastics from Renewable Materials
5. New Environmental Technologies in Processing of Plastics
6. Enabling Technologies in Processes and Procedures
7. Emerging Technologies in Materials, Processing & Applications for better Environmental Impact
8. Design for Sustainability
9. Significant Innovations in the Environmental & Recycling Areas in Conventional Plastics
10. Significant Innovations in Plastics from Renewable Resources
Nomination Deadline
To qualify, all nominations must be received by July 15, 2011.
Nomination Process
