SustainAbility is a recycling company that combines our passion for the environment & recycling with an understanding that every human being is unique & has gifts & talents to offer our communities & our planet.A majority of SustainAbility’s workforce is comprised of individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities. We work in partnership with PPCH (www.parkerpch.com) to provide meaningful, paid work experiences & training to a community that struggles with an over 70% unemployment rate.

We are committed to salvaging valuable resources by working in partnership with our local communities to provide residential & commercial recycling pick-up services as well as two drop-off sites for electronics,hard-to-recycle items and single-stream recycling.

Commercial Recycling

SustainAbility commercial services are perfect for meeting the needs of businesses. Every business’s recycling needs are unique. Our staff is available to assist you with determining the frequency of pick-ups, the number of bins required & ideal bin sizes. We also offer inside pick-ups if this is of convenience or necessity for your business.

Recycling needs vary from one company to another. Our services are tailored for meeting the needs of small businesses.SustainAbility provides our customers with two 95 gallon bins for outdoor pickups or up to four 45 gallon containers for indoor pickups.

Residential Recycling

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the average American produces about 4.4 pounds of garbage a day, or a total of 29 pounds per week. That is 1,600 pounds of household trash per person each year!You can make a difference. By recycling the waste produced in your home you can cut down your trash production to a fraction of this number. And remember, always reuse before recycling!

SustainAbility supplies our residential customers with 95 gallon bins. Our pick-ups are completed once a month. Once monthly pick-up meets our customers needs, keeps recycling service rates low & decreases carbon footprint emissions & traffic in your neighborhoods.

Electronics Recycling

E-waste is a growing problem in our communities. Electronics contain dangerous toxins and are rarely disposed of sustainably.As of July 1, 2013 it is Colorado state law that electronics may not be thrown in the trash. This law applies to electronic devices thoughout the state of Colorado and effects both residents and businesses.By recycling your electronics you are ensuring that hazardous waste does not leach into the earth, endangering plants, animals, water & human health.At SustainAbility, we ensure that all electronics are ethically handled in every way. We carefully disassemble each element & distribute pieces to environmentally responsible downstream recyclers to be remade into new products.

.It is our goal to provide the most affordable recycling services possible to our community.Due to recent changes in recycling markets, it has become more expensive & labor intensive for us to disassemble televisions containing wood.Because of these changes we have been forced to raise our prices on these items.We understand that these items are heavy and can incur a significant cost for ethical recycling.Please be assured that we are doing everything that we can to keep our pricing as low as possible during these market fluctuations.

Single-Stream Recycling

We provide single-stream recycling to our customers.This means NO SORTING of recycling on your part!Sign up for pick-up service for your home or business, or visitone of our two warehouses to drop-off your single-stream recycling.Although we accept the same materials at both of our centers,because our drop-off sites operate using different funding sources the fees at each site differ.
