They rely on our guidance in waste and recycling management programs site to site.A non-hazardous waste audit is the process through which information about existing waste management practices is collected and analyzed in order to identify efficiencies and deficiencies.Using the Standard Waste Audit Methodology (SWAM), the PragmaTech audit team conducts a fine sort to determine all streams of waste generated within a facility – by department and as a whole – to identify opportunities for improved waste reduction and diversion. Waste Audit Process
All waste audits are conducted by Certified Waste Auditors. Audits can take up to two weeks, however we recommend 48-72 hour audits as they provide a good snapshot of your facility’s average waste generation. Samples are separated into material categories according to your requirements. Our process of fine sorting provides a clear understanding of your waste composition, facilitating optimal waste management. Based on the findings of the fine sort, we are able to setup recycling programs that best fit your waste. We create value for any organization responsible for waste collection saving as much as 60% of all waste pick-ups by ensuring pickups are only initiated and completed when a bin is full. Pandora Intelligent Networks platform (Pandora) utilizes machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless communications to allow individual machines to remotely indicate if they are working correctly and efficiently. This enables organizations to achieve cost savings in waste management. First, Pandora will schedule pick-ups only when compactors reach a specified fullness level, eliminating the cost of unnecessary collections. Second, Pandora makes information accessible to multiple stakeholders throughout an organization. Third, Pandora tracks key parameters of compactors and balers, such as ram pressure, operating time, number of bales, cycles, etc., and tracks equipment and system performance over time. By tracking compactor performance, service calls can be scheduled well in advance of an actual breakdown, thus reducing repair costs and leading fewer replacements, and patterns or trends can be identified among a network of machines. Finally, the remote sensing equipment enables the user to detect and rectify compactor misuse – a common cause of breakdown.
