Metro Tech Recycling is a Minority Woman Owned Business (MWBE) located in the Dallas area. Originally, the company was named Shiny Queen LLC., and we dealt only with computer recycling. As environmental needs and concerns grew, we added the metal recycling division with the name Metro Tech Recycling. Our company specializes in Electronic Waste Collection, Electronic Waste Recycling, and Resource Recovery Services. Our recycling program focuses on environmentally friendly methods of disposing of E-waste. Our mission is to promote a Zero Waste, Zero Landfill policy. Metro Tech Recycling looks forward to a long lasting partnership with your company. We also specialize in Information Technology Products recycling such as computers, monitors, laptops, motherboards, UPS, cell phones…etc. Also, we provide the service of clearing our client’s personal data off of hard drives.

Recycling is the act of taking used material and what people usually don’t think of as useful anymore and removing the salvageable parts and reusing them.E-waste is defined as all obsolete or outdated computers, cell phones, printers, monitors, and thousands of other devices commonly used in offices, homes, and by people on the go. The global technological revolution is fueling the rapidly increasing e-waste recycling problem.
The demand to effectively and safely recycle the obsolete electronics is pushed by the same demands our society imposes on manufacturers to make newer, smaller, faster, and more efficient software. The environmentally safe disposal of e-waste has become a problematic issue over the past decade.At Metro Tech Recycling, our mission is to promote a Zero Waste, Zero Landfill policy. For example, a retired motherboard can be broken down into various raw materials: Aluminum, Tin, Copper, Brass, Gold, Silver, and Plastics (ABS/ PVC, PP & PET).
Data Security is by far the most important aspect of our customers concern. Metro Tech Recycling is here to protect the privacy concerns of our customers. Everything we do is designed to shield our customers from liability and harm. Metro Tech Recycling provides pictures of the before and after of the hard drive destruction which consists of drilling a hole into the center of the hard drive. A small fee of only $3 per hard drive will apply. A discount is available for customers with large quantities.
Pick Up Program
Metro Tech Recycling services the DFW area which includes north to McKinney and Denton, south to Lancaster and Burleson, east to Wylie and Mesquite, and west to White Settlement and Azle. We also offer a Free pick up program if your company is within 10 miles from our warehouse. In addition, there will be no cost to you if you have at least 5 pallets of computer related items and if these items are on pallets and ready to be picked up. If you have less than 5 pallets or if everything is loose, we will charge a minimum of $70 per pick up depending on the distance.
We have a wide range of fleet trucks available from a small pick up truck to a 24’ box truck. We can handle any size load from just a few boxes to dozens of pallets.
Drop Off Service
If you have only a small amount of items that need to be recycled, we also offer a Free Drop Off Service. Yes! We don’t charge anything if you drop everything off at our Collection Center.
