Recycling

• CWPM recycles all clean wood waste we receive from our customers, such as pallets, skids, crates, tree waste, lumber, etc. We own and operate a Hammer Mill style shredder which reduces large wood into a wood chip product. The wood chip is then used as a fuel product or wood mulch for landscaping.
• Our Volume Reduction Transfer Station in Plainville, Connecticut, has the capabilities of accepting large amounts of fiber materials and processing these for shipment to various markets for recycling. Materials are sorted, baled and  then shipped to these sites.
• No matter how little, or how large an amount of recyclable material you produce, we have a container that will fit your needs. We can collect recyclables in small 14 gallon recycling bins up to 100 yard trailers, depending on your needs.

Dumpsters

We offer a full range of refuse, recycling and construction/demolition waste services. We stock containers that range from 2 thru 50 cubic yards. This enables us to provide construction/demolition debris removal to various large construction projects as well as refuse removal services at small, and large businesses.

Roll-Off Dumpsters

Roll-off dumpsters range from 12 thru 50 cubic yards. These are most commonly used on construction sites for construction and demolition debris removal. These can also be used at residential homes for cleanouts, remodeling debris and roofing debris, as well as at commercial businesses for general debris. The 40 and 50 cubic yard dumpsters are usually found at transfer stations for the hauling of materials to final disposal facilities.

State and Municipal Transfer Station Operations

CWPM specializes in large scale transfer station operations for state and municipal facilities. CWPM has successfully taken over operations from state and city operations to reduce costs. CWPM can design a program that allows us to take over your town/city operations; privatize the facility and return a user fee to the city. The city operations now turns into a profit center instead of a costly operation.We employ several state certified transfer station operators with years of field experience.

Compaction Systems

For large volumes of refuse, or recycling materials, we offer a full range of compaction systems. These units range in size from 6 cubic yards to 40 cubic yards. We can provide the equipment, installation, maintenance and service. In the event of an equipment failure, we offer 24 hour on call service for repairs.

Self Contained compactors are an all in one unit. The compactor and the container are built together as one unit. When the compactor needs to be emptied, the entire unit is removed and returned. These units are sealed to provide a leak proof compactor. These are ideal for customers who have wet trash, such as restaurants and nursing homes. These compactors range in size from 12 cubic yards to 35 cubic yards. These units are emptied with a roll-off truck.

Break-away compactors are two separate pieces. The compactor unit is separate from the container. The unit is installed, and there will be a container that attaches to the unit. When the container is full, we detach the container and empty and return the container. These containers range from 20 to 50 cubic yards. The break away compactor is better suited for dry trash, or materials such as cardboard or paper. These are also emptied with a roll-off truck.
