Zijin Mining Reports Record-High Output in 3Q at its Australian Norton Gold Fields

BEIJING (SMM): Zijin Mining Group Co. registered an all-time high of gold output during the third quarter at its Norton Gold Fields in Australia, xinhuanet.com reported. 

The Australian gold mine produced 46,900 ounces of gold in 3Q ending Sept. 30, hitting a record high, the company said at its latest financial reports. 

Cash costs dropped to a 4-year low of 819 Australian dollars per ounce during 3Q, and were 929 Australian dollar during the first three quarters of the year, totally producing 128,000 ounces, the company added.
