War doesn’t infect production in Azovstal

The general director of Azovstal, Enver Skitishvili stated that, the company is facing major problems with logistics along with that all the communication with Donetsk has been cut off with no further shipments.

He also stated that the company was very much compelled and forced to halt diversifying coal supplies and to start shipping its goods in order to compensate the company’s main route. But the supplies to be carried through sea has a limit, as the sea is shallow.

The existing shipments can definitely not provide the company with required amount of raw materials. The news is that the shipments of thick steel would be reduced to its six times, if the supply problems are not fixed.

Skitishvili stated that, the company expects about 30 percent drop in its total production, at the same time also insisted that the company has not been in financial crisis till, as the company opted much expensive market and only had to face a loss of 10-15 percent.
