UT Recycling to hold weeklong 'Paper Purge Party'

NASHVILLE (Scrap Monster): UT Recycling has decided to hold a weeklong paper collection event. The annual event titled ‘Paper Purge Party’ will be held from March 9th to 13th. The event is being held with the aim of educating general public about the types of paper that can be recycled. All kinds of paper waste including hardback books, journals, magazines and spiral note books will be accepted.

Participants are required to collect their unwanted books and papers in a container. The container has to be marked ‘recycling’ and must be placed outside the office door. The Facilities Service volunteers will collect the discarded paper waste during their scheduled rounds. UT Recycling has provisions for customers to request for special pickups if the volume of paper is excessively large. Those who wish to schedule a pickup are required to contact UT Recycling at 974-3480.
