US Steel decides on planting world headquarters in Pittsburgh

The United States Steel Corp, stated that, as the part of the redeveloping of the former Civic Arena site, by the Penguin, the company has decided to plant its new world headquarters in Pittsburgh.

 WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster): The decision was made together by the company along with  the hockey team, the city as well as the state, which has invested 15 million dollars for the  redevelopment of the site.

The Mayor of the city, Bill Peduto stated that, he never wanted to become the mayor who lost the chance implant US Steel in the city. He further added that, the company belonged in Pittsburgh, and it felt great to say that the dream of planting US Steel in Pittsburgh  is coming true in the  future.

The headquarters of the company will be built as a five  storied building, which will provide jobs for approximately 800 people. The building will be covering 250,000 square feet, and will also a include a steel museum.

The Chief  of staffs at the  mayor’s office, Keevin Acklin stated that, this program should be viewed with not one aspect but with multiple aspect. Many numbers of jobs will be  provided to the citizens in the construction field, and all those jobs will commit to  under the city’s document to the community, so people will find women as well as minority community as the contractors.

According to the Chief Executive Officer  of the company, Mario Longhi the  new headquarters of the company will open by the beginning of September in the year 2017, after the expiry of   the  company’s lease on the 64 storied Steel Building.
