US H1 scrap average prices remained flat: 28th July, 2014

ALBANY (Scrap Monster): The US H1 scrap price average prices were at $357.50 per long ton, as on 28^th July, 2014. This is the seventh consecutive week that the H1 scrap average prices have remained steady.

The average price of US H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Philadelphia was $357.50 per long ton, remaining unchanged from the previous week.  

The H1 scrap average price in Pittsburg was $369.50 per long ton.  The average price maintained the previous week’s price. In Chicago the prices averaged at $369.50 per long ton, holding steady and keeping the previous week’s price levels. The average price in Philadelphia was $333.5 per long ton. The prices here too witnessed no change when compared with prices during the previous week.

The H1 prices averaged at $285.83 per long ton in New York, Houston and Boston, remaining flat when compared to previous week prices.
