Ukraine long steel imports advance 6% y-o-y in Jan-Jul

KIEV (Scrap Monster): Ukraine's long steel product imports reached 278,880 metric tons (mt) in the January-August period of the current year, advanced 6% year-on-year, as per the latest data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers.
In August alone, Ukraine's long steel product imports decreased by 3.5% month-on-month to 34,860 mt.
In the January-August period, Ukrainian exports of long steel products increased by 2.3% year-on-year to 3.844 million mt. In August alone, Ukraine's long steel product exports reached 509,710 mt, advanced by 25.5% month-on-month.
