Traveling Computers now offering E-waste Recycling

CODY (Scrap Monster): Traveling Computers in Riverton is proud to announce that they are now offering E-waste recycling! E-waste is a huge problem not only locally but nationally, contributing to millions of tons of waste to landfills every year.

“A couple of businesses have told us that they have entire rooms or storage closets full of old technology and it will cost them too much to take it to the dump,” said Stacey Peranteaux of Traveling Computers. “We are excited to let people know that we can recycle these items absolutely free of charge.”

E-waste items Traveling Computers will take include:

• Whole desktop computers in any condition
• Whole laptop computers in any condition
• Motherboards and all types of circuit boards
• Hard drives
• Cell phones

Note: They do not accept monitors or TV’s.

Drop off times are the same as store hours. Monday – Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Pickup service is available for a nominal fee.
