Sunnking acquires Syracuse electronics recycling firm

ALBANY (Scrap Monster):  Brockport, NY-based Sunnking Inc. has announced that it has acquired Syracuse, NY-based Coast 2 Coast Electronics Recyclers. The acquisition will help Sunnking to better serve customers in Central New York and adjoining areas. Coast 2 Coast has been providing electronic waste collection, data destruction and responsible recycling in Syracuse area for several years.

The acquisition brings Sunnking’s rich experience in asset management, data destruction and electronics recycling into Syracuse area. According to Coast 2 Coast, the takeover of the firm could help Sunnking initiate additional services which they were unable to provide to their clients. The professional services offered by Sunnking will provide a new experience to Syracuse residents, it noted.

Sunnking was initially formed in 2000 as a re-seller of electronic equipment. The company has now positioned itself as a leader within the electronics recycling industry. The recycler headquartered in 4,Owens Road is R2/RIOS (Responsible Recycling Practices/Recycling Industry Operating Standard) certified. It has facilities located in the New York cities of Syracuse, Buffalo, Rochester and Brockport. Sunnking specializes in refurbishing, reselling and recycling electronic products from residential and commercial suppliers throughout New York state and surrounding areas.
