A five year agreement of 40 million euro has been signed for operations and maintenance of crushing and conveying systems by Mexican mining company Minera Peñasquito with Siemens.
BERLIN(Scrap Monster): A five year agreement of €40m has been signed for operations and maintenance of crushing and conveying systems by Mexican mining company Minera Peñasquito with Siemens.
The availability and reliability of the mine will be enhanced by the maintenance system and the actual cost of order will depend on the output of the plant.
Since 2006 gold, silver, lead and zinc have been extracted from the mine. Personnel and equipment services is offered by the customer services division of the German company which is located in the Mexican state of Zacatecas.
The mine has been under the service and maintenance of Siemens, where the company supplied drive systems.Around-the-clock operation and maintenance of the InPit crushing and conveying system will be carried out by the company using computer-aided maintenance at Minera Peñasquito.
