Opening Sales of 2014-W Proof Silver Eagle Coin Reaches 307,378

NEW YORK (Scrap Monster) : The Debut sales of 2014-W Proof Silver Eagle coin released on Jan. 23, Thursday is reported to have reached record high at 307,378.  The debut sales witnessed strong opening last week and have so far made impressive orders for the individually packaged coins. The coins were released from Jan. 23 to Jan 28.

As compared to last year, when the opening sales of 2014-W Proof Silver Eagle coins could sweep only 258,860 during the same number of days, this year’s sales has shown amazing sales in the starting pace itself. The opening days are usually the best time for American Silver Coins as estimates show. In 2012, the sales of the coins reached 299,539 within five days and in 2011, it could open at 367,623 in the first six days itself. Proof Silver Eagle coin was cancelled in 2009.

This year’s 2014-W Proof Silver Eagle coin has an advantage owing its price which is $ 52.95. Coin-lovers can also benefit from a discounted price through subscription. Subscribed customers can acquire the coin at $ 47.65 that offers discount of $ 5.30. The US mint has not announced any mint limit for this year’s coin.
