October 27th, 2016: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum market update

ALBANY (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked increased marginally Thursday, 27^th October, 2016 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of Platinum declined marginally, whereas silver scrap prices remained flat over the previous day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 2.61 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 3.35 and $ 4.09 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also decreased by $ 1.68 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $2.18 to touch $700.68 per Oz. Silver scrap prices remained unchanged at $14.53 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went lower by $ 2.47 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down by $ 3.17 and $ 3.87 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down by $ 1.59 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices witnessed a rise of $2.18 when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices remained flat at $12.90 per Oz.
