North American Brass and Lead scrap prices declined; Zinc scrap unchanged

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster): The North American Brass/Bronze and Lead scrap prices showed marginal decline on July 27^th, Monday on the Scrap Monster Price Index.

The prices of 70/30 Brass Scrap inched lower by $ 0.02 per Lb. 80/20 Brass Scrap also declined by $ 0.02 per Lb to $1.96 per Lb. The price of 85/15 Brass also went lower by $ 0.02 per Lb to reach $ 2.08 per Lb.

Brass Radiator and Brass Radiator/Fe Scrap prices dropped $0.02 per Lb and $0.01 per Lb respectively. Brass Radiator Ends price declined by $0.01 per Lb over the day. The prices of Red Brass declined by $0.02 per Lb. Rod borings too saw down move of $ 0.02 per Lb each. The prices of Yellow Brass decreased by $0.02 per Lb to touch $1.52 on July 27^th.

Meanwhile Zinc scrap prices remained unchanged over the day. New Zinc Die Cast and Old Zinc Die Cast maintained the previous day levels of $0.72 and $0.0.62 respectively.

Also, the prices of Lead wheel weights, Solid Lead, Lead Bullets, Scrap Auto batteries and Soft Lead witnessed drop of $0.02 per Lb each over the previous day.
