Market Update- 30th Dec, 2014: Chinese copper scrap prices edge higher

BEIJING (Scrap Monster):  The Chinese copper scrap prices ended higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on Tuesday, December 30^th.

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 150 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper W ire and Tubing also increased by CNY 150 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT to touch CNY 31,700 per MT. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too increased by CNY 50 per MT.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator prices were up by CNY 50 per MT when compared with the previous day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery maintained previous day’s levels on Tuesday, December 30^th.

Heater Cores prices appreciated by CNY 50 per MT.

Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.
