Market Update: 27th Jan, 2015- North American copper scrap prices decline

TORONTO (Scrap Monster) : The North American copper scrap prices declined marginally on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on January 27^th , Tuesday.

Alternator prices remained flat over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing slipped by $0.06 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.05 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright also went lower by $ 0.06 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery saw a down move of $0.02 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices declined by $0.01 per Lb to touch $ 1.15 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices were lower by $0.04 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator dropped marginally by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap, Cu Yokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices held steady.

Meanwhile, the price of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe too witnessed no change in price.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices too remained flat at $0.79 per Lb.

Romex Wire prices decreased by $0.01 per Lb when matched with the previous day.

Heater Cores prices too maintained the previous day’s prices on January 27^th.

Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed units saw no daily variation in prices.

Starters and Xmas Lights also remained flat over the day.
