Market Update- 15th Dec, 2014: Chinese copper scrap prices recover

BEIJING (Scrap Monster):  The Chinese copper scrap prices ended higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on Monday, December 15^th.

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 200 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 200 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices edged higher by CNY 100 per MT to touch CNY 32,100 per MT. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too went higher by CNY 50 per MT over the day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices witnessed rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day. A similar hike of CNY 50 per MT was seen in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator prices increased by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery too rose by CNY 50 per MT on Monday, December 15^th.

Heater Cores prices appreciated by CNY 100 per MT.

However, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.
