Malaysia's Iron, Steel sales value increase 9.5% y-o-y in June

KUALA LUMPUR (Scrap Monster): Malaysia's manufacturing output advanced 4.8% year-on-year in June, following a revised year-on-year increase of 6.7% recorded in May, as per the latest data released by Malaysia's Department of Statistics.

In June, Malaysian basic metal and fabricated metal products output rose by 5% year-on-year.

Meanwhile, in June this year, the sales value of basic iron and steel product manufacture totaled RM 2.14 billion ($684.5 million), increased by 9.5% year-on-year.
