LME Copper declines on weak Euro, China data

LONDON (Scrap Monster): London Metal Exchange (LME) copper declined on Friday, hurt by a weak euro on concerns about the euro zone debt crisis and uncertainty about the outlook for demand from top user China.

LME copper prices moved down by 1.08% to $8120 a metric ton (mt) on Friday from $8209 per mt previously.

LME Price Highlights:

--Aluminium alloy declined 1.64% to $1790 a metric ton

--Aluminium rose 0.25% to $1976 per metric ton

--Copper declined 1.08% to $8120 a metric ton

--Lead declined 1.47% to $2134 per metric ton

--Nickel fell 0.75% to $17000 per metric ton

--Tin declined 0.11% to $21725 per metric ton

--Zinc slipped 1.61% to $1863 a metric ton

– Steel dipped 5.97% to $315 per metric ton
