LME Copper declines 0.38% to $8178/ mt

LONDON (Scrap Monster): London Metal Exchange (LME) copper slipped on Friday, and was set for its biggest weekly loss in two months, on worries about the global economy while traders waited for China's trade data over the weekend to gauge the economic health of the world's top metals consumer.

Copper prices on LME market moved down by 0.38% to $8178 a metric ton (mt) on Friday from $8210/ mt previously.

Except steel, all other metals also traded lower on LME market on Friday.

LME Price Highlights:

--Aluminium alloy declined 1.85% to $1850 a metric ton

--Aluminium dipped 0.87% to $1974.50 per metric ton

--Copper declined 0.38% to $8178 a metric ton

--Lead declined 1.76% to $2168 per metric ton

--Nickel fell 2.32% to $17230 per metric ton

--Tin slipped 1.11% to $21780 per metric ton

--Zinc slipped 2.56% to $1900 a metric ton

– Steel rose 3.03% to $330 per metric ton
