Japanese H2 scrap prices edge higher during first week of September

TOKYO (Scrap Monster): The average price of Japanese H2 scrap increased further during the first week of September. This is the third consecutive week of price rise. The H2 scrap average prices had marginally increased during past two weeks as well.

The average price of Japan H2 scrap in Kanto, Central and Kansai region was ¥ 31,287/ton during the first week of September. The prices increased by ¥ 55/ton from the previous week. The prices had averaged at ¥ 31,232/ton during the last week of the previous month.

The average price of H2 scrap in Kanto region was ¥ 32,167/ton. The average price in Kanto region was up by ¥ 167/ton over the previous week.

The average H2 scrap price in Central region was ¥ 29,320/ton. The average prices in the region remained flat when compared with the previous week.

The H2 scrap average prices increased in Kansai regions. The average price of H2 scrap in Kansai region during the fourth week of August was ¥ 32,500/ton, up by ¥ 175/ton flat when compared with previous week prices.
