Japanese H2 scrap average prices rise further during April 3rd week

TOKYO (Scrap Monster): The average price of Japanese H2 scrap continued to rise further during the third week of April. This is the second consecutive week in a row that H2 scrap prices have continued to rise, after declining for several weeks in a row prior to that.

The average price of Japan H2 scrap in Kanto, Central and Kansai region was ¥ 23,084/ton during the third week of April. The prices edged higher by ¥ 113/ton from the previous week. The prices had averaged at ¥ 22,971/ton during the second week of April.

The average price of H2 scrap in Kanto region was ¥ 24,333/ton. The average price in Kanto region climbed higher by ¥ 666 when compared with the previous week.

The average H2 scrap price in Central region was ¥ 21,420/ton. The average prices in the region dropped by ¥ 200/ton when compared with the week before.

The H2 scrap average prices declined in Kansai regions. The average price of H2 scrap in Kansai region during the third week of April was ¥ 23,500/ton, dropping by ¥ 125/ton when compared with the previous week.
