Japanese H2 scrap average prices rebounded sharply

TOKYO (Scrap Monster): The average price of Japanese H2 scrap rebounded sharply during the second week of November. The H2 scrap prices increased after posting declines for straight six weeks. The H2 scrap average prices had declined by ¥ 4,814/ton during the past six weeks.

The average price of Japan H2 scrap in Kanto, Central and Kansai region was ¥ 27,334/ton during the second week of November. The prices dropped increased by ¥ 144/ton from the previous week. The prices had averaged at ¥ 27,190/ton during the first week of November.

The average price of H2 scrap in Kanto region was ¥ 28,333/ton. The average price in Kanto region has gone higher sharply by ¥ 833/ton over the previous week.

The average H2 scrap price in Central region was ¥ 25,420/ton. The average prices in the region dropped by ¥ 400/ton when compared with the previous week.

The H2 scrap average prices remained unchanged in Kansai regions. The average price of H2 scrap in Kansai region during the second week of November was ¥ 28,250/ton.

Meanwhile, H2 scrap base prices soared in the Japanese Tokyo Bay region to touch ¥ 28,500 to ¥ 29,000 per ton. A rise of ¥ 500 to ¥ 1,000 per ton was seen in base prices of P&S scraps and Shindachi scraps in the region.
