Italy's Steel exports rise 10.3% y-o-y in H1: Federacciai

ROME (Scrap Monster): Italy's steel imports declined by 27.4% year-on-year to 7.415 million metric tons (mt) in the January-June period this year, as per the latest statistics released by the Italian steel producers' association Federacciai.

Meanwhile, in the given period, the country's steel exports reached 9.915 million metric tons, advanced 10.3% year-on-year.

Italy's external steel trade balance is increasingly positive, reaching a surplus of 2.5 million mt for the given period.
