International Paper (IP) has acquired the assets of Omaha, Nebraska based paper recycling firm Omaha Paper Stock (OPS)

International Paper acquires Omaha paper recycling firm

KNOXVILLE (Scrap Monster): International Paper (IP) has acquired the assets of Omaha, Nebraska based paper recycling firm Omaha Paper Stock (OPS). IP also announced its plans to reposition its Omaha operations to the acquired facility. IP will relocate its existing Omaha business to the former OPS facility.

According to IP, the material stock at OPS facility will be transported to the company’s Omaha facility, where it will be processed and marketed. The shifting of operations to the acquired facility will take place in a phased manner. The acquired facility spans over 7 acres of land. The 55,000 square foot facility also has wide range of processing and transportation equipment. The complete relocation is expected to complete by end-August.
