India scrap metal prices remain mixed

MUMBAI (Scrap Monster): Indian scrap metal prices showed a mixed trend on Thursday in both Mumbai and Delhi metal market.

In Mumbai metal market, copper sheet cutting prices declined by Rs 3000 per ton to Rs 460000 per ton and copper utensil scrap prices dipped by Rs 1000 per ton to Rs 442000 per ton on Thursday.

Copper heavy scrap and copper armetur declined by Rs 2000 per ton each to Rs 474000 per ton and 464000 per ton.

Meanwhile, in Delhi metal market, copper bar and copper rod prices rose by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 505 per ton and 503 per ton on Thursday. However, copper scrap prices continued negative trend in Delhi metal market, which declined to Rs 444 per ton from Rs 445 per ton previously.

Zinc ingots, tin ingots and nickel strip also traded higher in Delhi metal market on Thursday.
