India scrap metal prices fall

MUMBAI (Scrap Monster): Indian scrap metal prices almost fell on Friday in both Mumbai and Delhi metal market.

In Mumbai metal market, copper cable scrap, copper armetur and copper sheet cutting prices declined by Rs 1000 per ton each to Rs 485000 per ton, Rs 466000 and Rs 461000 per ton respectively.

Copper heavy scrap prices in Delhi metal market moved down to Rs 475000 per ton from Rs 477000 per ton previously.

In Delhi metal market, copper bars and copper rod prices declined by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 506 per kg and Rs 504 per kg and copper scrap prices eased by Rs 8 per kg to Rs 440 per kg on Friday.

Tin ingots, nickel strip and lead ingots also traded lower in Delhi metal market on Friday.
