GaiaRecycle to exhibit at US composting council trade show

Waste & Recycling  |  2011-01-11 09:07:44

US Composting Council show will held on January 25-26 at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, CA

PALO ALTO (Scrap Monster): GaiaRecycle LLC, an industry-leading global provider of onsite food/organic waste recycling systems, announced its plans to exhibit at the US Composting Council show on January 25-26 at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, CA.

GaiaRecycle will showcase the G-30H modular model to represent the GaiaRecycle product line's sturdy design, yet simple operational features. Upon advance request, GaiaRecycle will also conduct onsite tours and product demonstrations at its nearby Sunnyvale testing facility.

Composting and organics management industry attendees visiting the USCC show will have the opportunity to view GaiaRecycle's patented "double helix" shredder and blade technology that accelerates the organic decomposition process based on drying, sterilizing and grinding mixed food scraps and organic waste. GaiaRecycle's proprietary six-step deodorizer process removes odors, and the resulting output material from processed food waste is a sterilized, easy-to-handle, compostable soil amendment.

The nutrient content of GaiaRecycle's by-product material discharged from the system after processing food waste was recently analyzed by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) Agronomic Division. The analysis indicated that the by-product material contained a significant amount of valuable nutrients that can be further utilized in order to prevent food waste from being discarded into landfills.

With its significant experience and technological excellence in food waste recycling, GaiaRecycle features a wide range of modular models for processing almost any amount of food and organic waste with consistent and reliable performance. GaiaRecycle's modular systems range from processing capacities of 66 lbs per day to two tons per day for small-volume and mid-sized users, and up to 100+ tons per day for large organic waste recycling plants. During GaiaRecycle's 8-11 hours processing cycle, food waste weight and volume are reduced by up to 90 percent.

GaiaRecycle's "turn-key" features include safe, simple push-button operations and automated controls including built-in temperature and moisture sensors for robust operations and a hassle-free user experience. No microorganisms, enzymes, water or other additives are required during processing.
