EU Scrap prices continue to decline in September: Eurofer

BRUSSELS (Scrap Monster): European Union's local scrap prices continued negative trend on September this year, fell around 1% compared to August, according to European Steel Association (Eurofer) indexes.

The year-on-year comparison is still negative for all scrap qualities, but the gap is smaller as compared to the year-on-year comparisons in July and August.










*Notes: 2001 average = 100, indexes are based on €/mt average prices in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United Kingdom.
