Dynamic Recycling Brings Major Upgrades to Bristol Recycling Facility

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Bristol, Tennessee-headquartered Dynamic Recycling- a premiere recycler and processor of ethanol byproducts and sugar waste- has announced commencement of renovation works at its Bristol recycling plant. As part of the upgrade plan, the company will install two additional balers, one shredder and glass storage pits at the liquids recycling facility. The renovation works are expected to be completed by end-February this year and are likely to lead to dramatic improvement in the plant’s processing capacity and activity.

The installation of the new equipment will enable the company to capture the liquid inside containers and separate out the recyclable materials that are used to make the packaging. This new feature will provide the recycling facility with additional capability to process wide range of liquids from commercial packaging. Presently, the company accepts waste ethanol for recycling in drums and totes.

Further, the renovation will also help the company to boost its product destruction activity, by providing an environment-friendly process to destroy waste commercial products such as waste perfume, waste cosmetics, waste beer etc., containing harmful ethanol. The bulk processing of waste commercial products is likely to create new local jobs in the region, said Brian Potter, president of Dynamic Recycling.

Currently, the company carries out product destruction operations at its Abingdon, Virginia facility. The special plant, run by its sister concern MXI Environmental Services LLC, recovers bulk liquids and transports it to the Bristol plant. With the operation up and running at the Bristol facility, Dynamic Recycling will be able to eliminate transportation of bulk liquids from Abingdon to Bristol. Also, it will allow MXI’s plant to concentrate more on waste processing operations.

The renovation works are being executed by Burwil Construction of Bristol TN.
