CyclePoint will be the official e-recycler of the America Recycles Day (ARD) event on November 15th.

SPOKANE (Scrap Monster): CyclePoint from SourceAmerica has partnered with Keep America Beautiful (KAB) as the official e-recycler of the America Recycles Day (ARD) scheduled to be held on November 15th. The partnership will help to promote recycling in the country by providing job opportunities to people with disabilities.

Ahead of ARD, CyclePoint and KAB will arrange a series of e-waste collection and recycling events at various locations across the country. CyclePoint believes that the association with KAB will help it get connected to commercial customers. This will generate more business, which in turn may lead to more employment opportunities to the disabled. As per official estimates, CyclePoint has successfully handled over 5 million pounds of electronic waste, creating over 200 jobs for people with disabilities.

"Partnering with CyclePoint provides Keep America Beautiful the opportunity to elevate the importance of electronics recycling during America Recycles Day as well as getting people to recycle more and recycle right.", said Brenda Pulley, Senior Vice President, KAB.

CyclePoint from SourceAmerica is the nation's first electronics recycling network that creates jobs for people with disabilities through the safe, secure, and professional disposal of old computers, phones, and other obsolete electronics. Established in 1974, SourceAmerica creates job opportunities for a skilled and dedicated workforce of people with significant disabilities. Headquartered in Vienna, Virginia, SourceAmerica provides its nonprofit agency network with business development, contract management, legislative and regulatory assistance, communications and public relations materials, information technology support, engineering and technical assistance, and extensive professional training needed for successful nonprofit management.
