BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap prices closed on a mixed note on ScrapMonster Price Index as on Monday, July 28th.
#1 HMS prices remained unchanged from the prices a day before. The price of #1 Bare Bright Copper Wire inched lower by CNY 200 per MT. #1 Copper and #2 Copper prices too declined by CNY 200 each per MT.
201 Stainless Steel prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 304 Stainless Steel increased by CNY 50 per MT. 316 Stainless Steel prices saw up move of CNY 100 per MT to reach CNY 14,300 per MT.
Al/Cu Radiator scrap prices declined CNY 50 per MT over the previous day. Cast Iron Scrap prices saw no change in price as on 28th July, 2014.
Nickel scrap prices scaled higher by CNY 1,200 per MT. Nickel scrap traded at CNY 131,000 per MT.
Shred Stainless Steel prices went higher by CNY 50 per MT over the day.
Shred Zinc prices too increased CNY 100 per MT to touch CNY 12,650 per MT.
Soft Lead prices too surged higher by CNY 400 per MT.
