BEIJING (SMM): China’s Ministry of Finance announced adjustments to export tariffs April 23, removing the export duties on rare earths, tungsten and molybdenum since May 1, 2015.
China's imposed 15-25% of export duties on rare earth products before. The move is expected to increase competition of Chinese rare earth products in global markets.
Rare earth stocks on Chinese A-share market surged in response today.
