AISI publishes 14 revised test standards in S900-series

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) has published revised test standards in its S-900 series to supersede the previously published 2008 series. All the approved test methods are available for free download at www.aisistandards.org. The standards are updated every five years.

The revised test standards include

-AISI S903-13, Standard Methods for Determination of Uniform and Local Ductility (revision of AISI S903-08)

-AISI S904-13, Standard Test Methods for Determining the Tensile and Shear Strength of Screws (revision of AISI S904-08)

-AISI S905-13, Test Standard for Cold-Formed Steel Connections (revision of AISI S905-08)

-AISI S906-13, Standard Procedures for Panel and Anchor Structural Tests (revision of AISI S906-08)

-AISI S907-13, Test Standard for Cantilever Test Method for Cold-Formed Steel Diaphragms (revision of AISI S907-08)
