ACC seeks nominations for Innovation in Plastic Recycling Awards-2014

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The Plastics division of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) has invited nominations for this year’s Innovation in Plastics Recycling Awards.

The contest is open to all North American companies, individuals, and government bodies (including schools) that either collect or process plastics for recycling, manufacture equipment used to collect or process plastics for recycling; or manufacture a new product made in whole or part from recycled plastic. All received nominations will be screened by ACC staff.

The participants are required to email an abstract of no more than 50 words and include a technical description of up to 500 words. Picture or diagram is allowed to be included, if applicable. The entry must also mention company name, company website, name, title, phone number and email of the contact person. The details must be forwarded to innovation@americanchemistry.com on or before 5:00 PM EDT October 21, 2014. The winners will be notified by October 24^th.

Each year, ACC’s Plastics Division hosts the Innovation in Plastics Recycling Awards, which highlight innovations in the plastics recycling industry by recognizing companies and individuals whose vision and perseverance bring new technologies, products, and initiatives to the marketplace.
