8th Feb, 2016: North American copper scrap prices dropped slightly

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices edged marginally lower on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on February 6^th, Monday.

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.02 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.02 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright too went lower by $ 0.02 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery dropped slightly by $0.01 per Lb from the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices were unchanged. #3 Copper-Light copper prices dropped by $0.02 per Lb to reach $1.51 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap held flat from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too witnessed no change from the previous day.

Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe remained flat on Feb 8^th, 2016.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices remained flat over the day.

The price of Romex Wire declined by $0.01 per Lb to touch $1.35 per Lb.     

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights maintained the previous day price levels.
