4th Aug, 2015: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum prices declined

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Tuesday, 4^th August, 2015 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices too slumped.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 0.23 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 0.29 and $ 0.36 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 0.14 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw sharp cut of $ 5.83 per Oz to reach $ 707.98 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $11.97 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.15 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 0.22 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 0.28 and $ 0.34 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 0.14 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 5.83 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.14 per Oz.
