30th July, 2015: Scrap gold prices drop, Platinum and Silver gains on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked declined Thursday, 30^th July on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However the prices of Platinum and Silver gained marginally.

 In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 6.30 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went lower by $ 8.07 and $ 9.86 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also slipped by $ 4.04 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap surged by $ 5.11 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too were marginally higher by $ 0.02 per Oz to touch $ 12.05 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 5.96 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 7.64 and $ 9.33 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices also declined by $ 3.82 per Oz. A jump of $ 5.11 per Oz was seen in platinum scrap prices. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices remained unchanged over the previous day.
