29th Oct, 2014: Scrap gold prices decline, Silver and Platinum up

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked declined from previous day on Wednesday, 29^th October on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of Silver and Platinum scrap ended marginally higher.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices dropped marginally by $ 0.15 per Oz. The price of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap declined by $ 0.18 per Oz and $ 0.22 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices went lower by $ 0.09 Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed rise of $ 8.75 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too increased slightly by $0.02 per Oz over the previous day.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices declined by $ 0.13 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too were down by $ 0.18 and $ 0.21 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap dropped by $ 0.09 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $8.75 per Oz to $922.34 per Oz. Meantime, Silver scrap prices too were up marginally by $0.02 per Oz during the day.
