27th May, 2016: Scrap gold prices fall, Platinum and Silver up

SPOKANE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked declined marginally Friday, 27^th May on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of scrap Silver and Platinum rebounded on Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 3.07 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went down by $ 3.93 and $ 4.80 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also edged lower by $ 1.96 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a rise of $ 6.56 per Oz to reach $ 731.31 per Oz. Silver scrap prices were up by $ 0.21 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went lower by $ 2.89 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went down by $ 3.71 and $ 4.54 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also declined by $ 1.86 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 6.56 per Oz. Silver scrap prices went marginally higher by $ 0.18 per Oz to touch $ 12.02 per Oz.
