25th Sep, 2014: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum dropped

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Thursday, 25^th September on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices too slumped.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 7.66 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 9.83 and $ 11.99 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 4.92 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap too saw cut of $ 6.57 per Oz to reach $ 968.27 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $14.42 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.20 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 7.24 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 9.29 and $ 11.34 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 4.65 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 6.57 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.18 per Oz.
