24th Aug, 2016: Marginal decline seen in North American copper scrap prices

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices edged marginally lower on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on August 24^th, Wednesday.

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.06 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.06 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright too went lower by $ 0.06 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery witnessed downfall of $0.02 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too declined by $0.01 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices dropped by $0.06 per Lb to reach $1.68 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap held steady on Index. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes prices too witnessed no change from the previous day. Cu/Al Radiator Ends saw no change over the previous day. The prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe remained flat on August 24^th, 2016.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices remained unchanged.

The price of Romex Wire dropped by $0.02 per Lb when matched with the previous day.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights maintained the previous day price levels.
